I recently downloaded the “From the Edge” with Peter Lik Ipad App on Itunes, it’s free.  Features include, Sync With Show, About the Show, Meet Peter Lik, Episode List, Videos and Photos.

“About the Show” and “Meet Peter Lik” are two features in the App that provide you with a brief background about “From the Edge” and Peter Lik.  The Video and Picture section of the App allows you to watch short video clips from each episode and see picture of Peter Lik in action, photographing natures beauty.  I enjoy looking at the pictures to see what photography gear Peter Lik is using in each episode.

Peter Lik has photography prints on display in his galleries scattered across the United States and in Australia.  Four of Peter Lik’s galleries can be found in Las Vegas where he oversees LIK USA. The next time I am in Vegas I plan on stopping by one of the galleries so I can enjoy his photography in person!

Peter Lik is a Master Photographer based out of Las Vegas.  He originally came to the United States from Australia in 1984 with a goal to photograph landscapes in all 50 states.  Lik currently oversees Lik USA with 13 galleries and over $200 million in fine art sales.

Lik has received the award of master photographer from both the Australian Institute of Professional Photography and the Professional Photographers of America. Recently, Peter Lik sold a shot of the Androscoggin River in New Hampshire he titled “One,” for an astounding one million dollars.

Lik also hosts “From the Edge,”  a TV series which airs on the weather channel on Thursday nights.  The series follows Lik as he travels the world photographing amazing landscapes.
